The summer seems to have flown right by. School has started here. My great-nephew's first Junior High Football game is Tuesday. The geese and cranes are starting to arrive from their summer north. We're mostly unpacked and settled in. There are still a few boxes left in the storage unit, but those are for the garage or shed when we get around to that phase. It's the end of July, and I'll be honest, I've lost track of time since we moved into the new house. We started moving in on the 17th of May, and spent the rest of the month and most of June living in a sea of boxes and unpacking. We're still unpacking because we opted for the slow boat on that project, but I can say we have a beautiful house. We have furniture; the kitchen and pantries are fully functional; the studio is unpacked; and both bedrooms have beds. We've redone the master closet...

Last time I checked April showers were supposed to bring May flowers. That does not appear to be the case so far. April showers brought May showers. It’s been too cold for the flowers to really show up yet. We’ve been see low to mid 60s in the day time, but over night is still hovering around freezing. It’s been a hot minute since I dropped y’all a note. The month of March kind of got away from me. We made a bit of a mad dahs home in late March. There were some serious communication breakdowns with the company building our Modular and we had to get home to prep the site for our early April home delivery.
